Netanyahu faces post-election deadlock in Israel as Trump announces end to US aid
Israel's election left Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu without a parliamentary majority, and the result is inconclusive. He then claimed the vote was "stolen" by Arab voters. The elections chief and other officials rebuked the claim and said the results stand. Opposition leaders, including Arab parties, moved to back Gadi Eisenkot as a rival candidate for prime minister. Eisenkot vowed not to join a Netanyahu government.
